She has over thirty-five years of experience in handling Workers’ Compensation matters. She has case experience in every type of work-related injury, trauma and occupational disease and exposure.

Ellen was born and raised in the State of Missouri and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in the year 1980 and her Juris Doctorale in 1984. In 1985, she began working for an insurance defense firm (defending the big guys) while learning all of the corporate ins and outs of the insurance world decided that this was not the place for her. In 1998, Ellen left the world of insurance defense and opened her own law firm, which is now The Law Offices of Ellen E. Morgan ®, where she became the advocate for the worker and their families. Worker's Compensation is an area of special interest where she defends the rights of the worker and their families against the big insurance companies or self-insured employers. She has handled thousands of cases at the local level and as well as going to the Supreme Court of Missouri to obtain what is the rightful benefits for workers and their families.
